Self-taught photographer based in the Netherlands.
Geert van den Boogaard is a self-taught photographer from the Netherlands. He started making pictures about 20 years ago. His pictures, mostly in black and white, range from documentary, portraits to architecture. During two road trips in Mississippi he made the series ‘Cross Your Heart’ with portraits from blues musicians in small communities in Mississippi. Later several series were made in Lithuania. Geert works from Dordrecht, the Netherlands.
